Along the south shore of Prince Edward Island, you’ll find Abram’s Village, a small quaint fishing community home to Acadian Fishermens’ Co-op.

AFC is owned by approximately 95 member fishermen. At peak season AFC employs more than 200 workers in their processing facility and ports.

In the spring and fall of the year AFC buys only the best seafood products from ports across Prince Edward Island, fresh from the Atlantic Ocean… and on to your table. By doing this we meet the needs of our customers while providing work for the people of our Island communities. AFC is a vital part of the community offering steady employment to our workers while giving fishermen more control over their catches and therefore better value to our customers.
